Seth is the Gorilla Convict Writer, the Jim Morrison of the prison rock underground, a singer, guitarist, and songwriter who likes jamming, creating music and writing songs. He spends lots of time writing, singing, reading, playing and watching sports. His interests are education, poetry and music. He has earned a BA degree by correspondence through the University of Iowa and plans to continue writing for magazines and the internet sites, publishing books getting degrees and making music.
Seth has been incarcerated since October 1, 1993, when he was arrested in St. Louis, Missouri. He had been a fugitive from justice for two years at the time of his arrest.
Originally arrested when he was 20 and charged with operating a Continuing Criminal Enterprise. It was his first offense, but it carried a twenty-year minimum sentence and a maximum sentence of life. The thought of spending the rest his life in prison for a nonviolent offense was a bit too much for any adolescent to handle. So he fled.
Later, in 1993, the feds caught up with him in St. Louis, and since then, he's been a prisoner of the war on drugs, serving his sentence of twenty-five years, four months. Scheduled for release in October, 2015. He is mow 30, and if nothing changes, he expects to remain in prison until his 44th birthday. A long time for a first-time, nonviolent offender.
During his time served, he expects to educate himself and write about the prison experience. Please review the information Seth has provide through-out this Website.
